Biography

Fahd joined the CPA Canada Board of Directors in September 2017.

With over 20 years of experience in the financial institutions industry in management consulting, organizational strategy and financial transformation, Fahd has worked as a banker in retail and corporate investment banking, and as a consultant and senior advisor to C-Suite officers. He was the founder, chief executive officer and managing partner of SCB, a boutique management consulting firm based in Montreal that led consulting projects for key clients in Montreal and New York. He was also partner and global head of Financial Advisory Services at Chappuis Halder & Co. Fahd is currently group partner and chief financial officer at Adsum Groupe Conseil.

Fahd's strong background in financial risk management and accounting for financial instruments, together with his advanced knowledge of banking in a front-mid-back organization, main systems and processes, has made him a sought keynote speaker for several round tables and conferences on banking and financial instruments around the world.

He also lectures at the Université du Québec à Montréal and is a seasoned trainer for the Ordre des CPA du Québec. Fahd also sits as a member of the Financial Accounting and Reporting Committee of Quebec’s financial market’s regulator, the Autorité des marchés financiers.
