Governance of Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada)

CPA Canada is the national organization established to support a unified Canadian accounting profession, governed by a Board of Directors and led by CPA Canada's executive team.

Board of Directors

The membership of CPA Canada's board reflects a cross-section of perspectives based on regional representation of the membership and public input.

On September 28, 2016, the size of CPA Canada’s board was reduced from 22 to 12 directors, eight of them nominated by the regions. All members and the public have access to the CPA Canada by-laws that outline the principles by which the national CPA organization operates and interacts with its members.
