Philip Dowad

Phil is an audit partner based out of KPMG's Vancouver office, working with companies across Canada. During the development of the new revenue standard, IFRS 15, Phil headed KPMG’s global IFRS revenue recognition and provisions topic team, which has oversight responsibility for the firm’s positions on revenue, provisions and regulatory accounting. In this role, Phil advises clients and consults internally on the implications of IFRS to their existing practices, including emerging issues such as exposure drafts and new standards. Phil also chairs KPMG’s Canadian revenue recognition topic team.
