France is the principal of advisory services at the Office of the Auditor General of Quebec (AGQ). In this position, France heads advisory services in accounting standard-setting, financial auditing and performance auditing, chairs working groups and oversees the AGQ’s quality assurance system. In 2017-2018, she chaired the Peer Review Committee of the Canadian Council of Legislative Auditors.
She has been a member of the Technical Working Group on Public Sector Accounting with Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (CPA Québec) since its creation. She was a member of the Public Sector Accounting Board (2011-2016) and the Standards for Assurance Engagements Task Force with the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (2009-2015).
Before joining the AGQ in 2001, France was the principal in charge of quality assurance services at the Quebec City office of an international accounting firm. She also chaired that office’s financial institutions and pension plans committee. She realized special mandates for clients in this sector in Quebec City and Montreal.
