Doretta is CPA Canada’s financial literacy leader and director of Social Impact. She’s responsible for CPA Canada’s international award-winning financial literacy program, as well as the profession’s programs supporting financial literacy and capacity building in Indigenous communities. She has served in an advisory capacity to national financial literacy initiatives, including those of the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada and Excellence Canada, and hosts CPA Canada’s award-winning podcast, Mastering Money.

Doretta holds a Certified Aboriginal Professional Administrator designation and sits on the Boards of AFOA (Aboriginal Finance Officer’s Association) Canada and the Indigenous Learning Centre, and on the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada’s Financial Literacy Working Group for Indigenous People.

She is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal recognizing her voluntary work.
