Deidre A. Feist

Deidre is a senior manager in EY’s Canadian Indirect Tax practice. She has more than 20 years of experience in indirect taxation, providing advice on all aspects of GST/HST, PST and QST to resident and non-resident clients in both the private and public sectors. Deidre provides indirect tax advisory services in a wide variety of industries, including retail, e commerce, telecommunications, financial institutions, oil and gas, not-for-profit and public-private partnerships.

Prior to joining EY, Deidre was a Senior GST/HST technical interpretations officer for the Canada Revenue Agency, providing written and verbal GST/HST interpretations and rulings to taxpayers.

Deidre has authored and presented multiple papers on Canadian indirect taxation at the CPA Canada Commodity Tax Symposium and the Canadian Tax Foundation’s British Columbia Tax Conference. She is also a contributing author to national publications such as the CPA Commodity Tax News and the former CA Magazine.
