Darrell Jensen

Darrell is a partner in EY’s professional practice group in Toronto focused mostly on complex auditing matters and methodology. He also oversees EY’s internal audit quality inspection processes and works closely with external regulators, Canadian Public Accounting Board (CPAB) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), in their inspections of listed audit clients. Darrell has over 25 years of experience in serving clients, both public and private, in a variety of industries and has worked in a number of provinces across Canada.

Darrell starts a two-year term as chair of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AASB) in 2016. He was recently the co-chair of a task force to update the Joint Policy Statement between Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) and the Canadian Bar Association.
