Christian Thibault

Christian is a partner in KPMG’s Indirect Tax Practice. He joined KPMG LLP in 1997 and began practicing indirect tax in 2000.

Christian provides indirect tax services to financial institutions in all sectors including banks, insurers, investment plans, securities dealers and trust and loan corporations. In particular, Christian is responsible for KPMG’s Indirect Tax Compliance Centre for financial institutions. Christian provides value to clients by developing, improving and defending client input tax credit methodologies; recovering significant amounts of overpaid taxes; and assisting clients in managing government audits.

Christian previously presented workshops at the CPA Commodity Tax Symposium entitled, “A Practical Guide to the SAM Formula” and “Completing the GST111 / FP2111.”
