Mary Esteves

Mary has practised in commodity tax for over 25 years. Her specific expertise is GST and PST. Throughout her career, Mary has worked with many clients in various industry sectors with a significant focus on financial institutions, specifically banks, investment and insurance brokerage companies, pension plans, and insurance companies. Mary has spent much of her time specializing in this sector, assisting clients on their transaction-related matters, input tax credit recovery models, audits and other compliance-related issues. Mary has worked with her clients to review and advise on their application of indirect taxes. She has prepared and delivered seminars on the GST and PST to various clients and associations. She has represented clients to government authorities, whether in the course of an audit or lobbying efforts.
