Danny Cisterna

Danny is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant and a Partner with Deloitte’s Toronto office. He has been with the firm for 29 years of which 24 have been devoted to the practice of indirect taxes, including GST/HST and land transfer tax.

Danny's area of practice includes indirect tax planning and compliance, dispute resolution, opinions and interpretations, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions.

Danny is a recognized practitioner in his field, including recently being recognized by International Tax Review as one of the world’s Indirect Tax Leaders. Danny is an advisor to several financial services industry associations and is an active member of the GST Leaders Forum and Chair of the Tax Roundtable of the Toronto Financial Services Alliance.
