Andrew Azmudeh

Andrew Azmudeh is a Tax Partner located in the Calgary office.

Andrew has specialized in indirect tax since 2004. He advises local, multi-national and multi-jurisdictional businesses on their indirect tax issues, including reviewing re-organizations, performing risk assessments, reviewing transaction implications and providing audit defence support. He assists businesses in reorganizations and takeovers. He also advises many businesses with their HST pension compliance.

Prior to joining Deloitte LLP in 2016, Andrew worked for a with a Big Four firm and its allied law firm for 8.5 years. Prior to that, Andrew worked for British Columbia's Ministry of Finance for 3 years where he was involved in the review of specific provisions of the PST legislation. He also acted as an Appeals Officer and assisted many businesses with their provincial indirect tax appeals.
