Vladimir Fernandez

As Chief Technology Officer, Vlad provides the vision, oversight and execution of CPA Canada's information technology (IT) strategy to ensure the availability, security and continuity of the organization’s technology assets. More specifically, Vlad oversees the management and maintenance of CPA Canada’s network infrastructure, cybersecurity, technology platforms, help desk functions, data integrity, hardware and software resources and vendor relationships.

He is also responsible for implementing new technology initiatives and for developing and administering IT procedures and protocols that support the organization’s long-term objectives and goals.

Vlad is a business-oriented technology executive with extensive experience in leading digital transformations, technology modernizations, and strengthening IT security. Credited for building and leading highly engaged and high-performing IT teams, he has a track record of optimizing IT resources to develop, implement, and operate innovative and secure technology solutions, improving time to market, accelerating revenue growth and cost optimization.

Prior to joining CPA Canada, Vlad was the VP of Information Technology at InvestorCOM Inc., and he currently serves as an Advisory Board Member with Hubtek.
