Yesterday’s future is here, and CPAs have an important role to play in shaping tomorrow’s future.
Our 2020-21 annual report shows how CPA Canada adjusted through a global pandemic, provided value to our members and worked hard to enhance the relevance and sustainability of the profession.
Key highlights from the past fiscal included:
- becoming a valuable go-to resource for pandemic-related guidance for members and other stakeholders, in particular timely information and clarity on pressing tax questions
- adopting a unique approach for the September 2020 CFE despite the constraints presented by COVID-19
- adapting conferences to a fully virtual format without compromising on the quality of content delivered
- developing a first-of-its-kind guide aimed at helping organizations apply a consistent approach to valuation and decision-making when addressing climate change risks and opportunities
