Reviving Canada’s economic health: How can we improve fairness, opportunity and prosperity?

Members joined CPA Canada and other leading experts for a discussion related to priorities for the 2022 federal budget. View the recording now.

This live webinar, which took place on July 21, 2021, explored the state of the economy and what government needs to do to steer the recovery. It was also an opportunity for members to contribute their thoughts on what ideas the profession should bring to government in CPA Canada’s pre-budget submission.

As Canada emerges from the pandemic, other challenges – and opportunities – must be addressed as we seek to revive our economy.

  • How do we better capitalize on the digital economy and new technologies?
  • How do we make our economy more sustainable and make the transition to net-zero emissions by 2050?
  • How must tax policy evolve to maintain Canada’s competitiveness in a changing world?
  • How do we equip our workers with the skills to succeed in the future and how do we improve inclusion and opportunities for all Canadians?
  • How do we achieve these goals while at the same time unwinding the pandemic-related debt and restoring our fiscal health?

View the recording of our webinar on reviving the country’s economy, featuring leading economic experts. They are:
