Trent Klein

Trent is the director of corporate financial reporting for TELUS Corporation. He directly leads the team that prepares the external financial statements as well as management’s discussion and analysis. Since joining TELUS in 2001, Trent has been involved in many transformative finance-related events, including the introduction of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and has provided ongoing accounting support and analysis for many of TELUS’s high-profile transactions. He has led TELUS’s share option accounting and initiated its SOX 302 compliance process. Before joining TELUS, Trent primed external reporting for a cross-border listed intermediate oil and gas exploration and development company for six years and was with Price Waterhouse for more than nine years. Trent lives in Edmonton.
