Sylvie Heartfield

Sylvie is the manager of the Canada Disability Savings Program at Employment and Social Development Canada. As manager of the program for the past four-and-a-half years, she is responsible for leading the development of legislative, regulatory and policy initiatives, and developing and managing outreach strategies and activities to raise awareness of the Registered Disability Savings Plan among Canadians with disabilities and their families. She has held various analytical and managerial positions over her 25-year career within the Government of Canada in the areas of labour, employment and vulnerable groups.
