Stephen Ogilvie

Stephen is a director and credit analyst in the Public Finance Group at Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services in Toronto. He has primary responsibility for analyzing a large portfolio of Canadian municipalities, as well as coverage of several of the Canadian provinces and government-related entities.
Stephen joined Standard & Poor’s in 2000 as a public finance credit analyst with Canadian Bond Rating Service (CBRS). He held the position of economist at the municipal finance branch of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing in Toronto. Previously, he was a senior economist for the Region of Durham’s finance department.
He holds a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts, all from the University of Toronto.
