Sonia Kirby

Sonia is director of investor relations at Stantec, an engineering and architecture firm headquartered in Edmonton, with over 400 locations globally and 22,000 employees. At Stantec since 2008, Sonia leads the investor relations team and is responsible for the planning, implementation and oversight of Stantec’s investor relations program on both sides of the border, as Stantec is dual-listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange. She has more than 15 years of experience in the investment industry, where she was previously an investment advisor to high net worth clients, and holds the CIM and FMA designations from the Canadian Securities Institute and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta. Sonia currently serves on the Canadian Investor Relations Institute Alberta Chapter Executive, where she has been a member since 2008. She is also a member of the National Investor Relations Institute in the United States.
