Shane leads Grant Thornton's Business Risk Services practice in Western Canada and brings 20 years' experience helping clients proactively manage business risk and respond to risk events. Shane is a specialist in the assessment and design of IT controls over security, privacy, confidentiality and data integrity, as well as related business processes. He is also well versed in industry leading IT control frameworks such as COBIT, GAIT and ISO. Shane has advised numerous regulated and publicly accountable organizations including companies listed on the NASDAQ, NYSE MKT and the TSX including retail companies with annual revenues of between $300 million and $20 Billion.
