Safia Rahemtulla

Safia Rahemtulla is an associate partner in the consulting practice of Ernst & Young LLP and holds a CPA,CA designation, a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation and a Certified Third Party Risk Management Professional (C3PRMP) designation. Safia is in pursuit of her Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation. Safia has a background in external audit, primarily serving large clients based in Atlantic Canada, the United States, Toronto and New York. Safia has worked on a breadth of different engagements using her knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, ASPE and IFRS. Safia’s experience lends itself to internal controls, internal audit, performance improvement and risk management. Safia has experience in supporting, leading and building teams to deliver on compliance engagements, including but not limited to SOX404 and NI-52019. Currently, Safia holds a portfolio of clients within Atlantic Canada and Toronto serving both public and private clients. Safia leads the risk assurance practice for EY within Atlantic Canada.
