Russell Goodman

Russell Goodman is a corporate director of public, private and not-for-profit companies. He is presently a member of the boards/committees of Gildan Activewear where he chairs the Audit and Finance Committee and is a member of the Human Resources and Compensation Committee; Northland Power, where he chairs the Audit Committee and is a member of the Compensation and Independent Directors’ Committees; Metro, where he chairs the Audit Committee and is a member of the Governance and Nominating Committee; Investors Group Funds, where he chairs the Independent Review Committee; and The Walter Group, where is a member of the Advisory Board and the Investment Committee of Walter Capital Partners.

Russell previously served on the boards of Whistler Blackcomb Holdings and Forth Ports Limited.

Prior to his retirement, Russell was a partner at PwC, where he held a number of senior management and leading client responsibilities at Canadian, North American and Global levels.

Mr. Goodman is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Fellow of the Quebec Order of Chartered Professional Accountants. He was also certified by the Institute of Corporate Directors and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University.

In the not-for-profit field, Russell has served as a director of Centraide of Greater Montreal; Pointe-à-Callière Museum Foundation, The Canadian Club of Montreal, Alpine Canada Alpin, Tremblant Foundation and others. He is currently an Ambassador for Ski Québec Alpin. Mr. Goodman received the Governor General of Canada’s Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers in 2016 and was named to the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame in 2018.
