Rick O'Dell

Rick leads an extensive global transformation initiative at Manulife with a diverse team of business and technology professionals to deliver a state-of-the-art real estate platform, operating model, and enabling technologies. Rick also leads the global real estate back office accounting and operations teams and is actively involved in the education, advisory, and implementation of new and emerging technology.

Prior to joining Manulife, Rick worked at Colliers International where he was responsible for leading the accounting, reporting, and business solutions teams that included business systems and process improvement teams. Rick also served as the lead finance member of the executive committee for the real estate management services division that developed client service delivery standards, accounting and reporting advancements, and new technology initiatives.

Rick holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Accounting and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) with numerous designations focused on technology including: Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), Certified Bitcoin Professional (CBP), Certified Crypto-Economy Analyst (CCAnt), and Certified Blockchain Mechanism Designer (CMDes).
