Raquel de Munain

Raquel de Munain has been a human resources professional for over 20 years.

 

Since 2010, Raquel has held the position of Director, People & Culture with BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. In her role, she is responsible for a broad range of activities, including recruitment, recognition, employee relations, onboarding and orientation, compensation and training and development. She also spearheads many innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing the culture at the Foundation—which has been named one of BC’s Top Employers for over 10 years in a row.

 

Prior to joining the Foundation, Raquel was a People Solutions Consultant with Central 1 Credit Union, the trade association for credit unions in BC and Ontario supporting small and medium sized credit union in developing and implementing innovative HR programs. Before that, she was a human resources manager with OpenRoad Auto Group and with Mount Seymour Resorts.

 

Raquel has a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management. She is also a member of the Charted Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) Management Association and holds a CPHR designation.
