Peter Pigott

Peter is the president and CEO of FEI Canada and an experienced senior finance leader. He has served as CFO for several organizations, including Entertainment One, Sleep Country Canada and TSC Stores. He also served as president and CEO of Boreal Laboratories and COO of West 49. Most recently, Peter was executive director and CFO of GreenCentre Canada, a government-financed commercialization hub for academic cleantech discoveries, which works in close partnership with Queen’s University.

Peter has extensive experience in strategic finance initiatives, executing a successful IPO with Sleep Country Canada, a reverse takeover IPO with West 49 and, with Entertainment One, a transition from the Toronto Stock Exchange to the London Stock Exchange.

Peter has worked with private equity, including Bain Capital and Birch Hill Equity Partners, as well as venture capital backed businesses. Peter has worked on the commercialization of entrepreneurial technology projects in partnership with McMaster University, the University of Toronto and Queen’s University.
