Paul Nazareth

Paul has spent 18 years in the philanthropic sector. As vice-president of community engagement with CanadaHelps, Paul’s team works directly with more than 18,000 charities, thousands of donors and hundreds of advisors. He has been a philanthropic advisor with the Scotiabank Group and has spent more than a decade with charities such as the University of Toronto and the Catholic Church of Greater Toronto.

Paul teaches a national online planned giving course with the postgraduate fundraising program at Georgian College. He is chair of the advisory team for the Humber College postgraduate fundraising program, a national instructor on tax and philanthropy with the Canadian Association of Gift Planners, sits on several charity boards and writes about philanthropy for a variety of publications. Paul is a regular speaker at professional advisor gatherings such as CPA and STEP, as well as for groups across Canada, such as Advocis, CFA societies and estate planning councils. He has been featured in the Globe and Mail and Forbes.
