Michelle has been involved in mentoring and volunteering throughout most of her career including volunteering in the CPA Canada Financial Literacy program for several years. Financial literacy is a key competency that many have not had the opportunity to develop. Volunteering and helping someone develop those skills can be a big step for them towards opening doors and providing opportunities for independence. Michelle is proud to be aligned with CPA Canada and Canada Life, who have made commitments to improving financial literacy for Canadians.
