Michael Puskaric, MBA, CPA, CMA

Michael is the director of Public Sector Accounting for Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). His role is to be the champion for improving public sector accounting practices across Canada by sharing knowledge, encouraging collaboration and leading the development of standards. Michael brings to CPA Canada a broad base of experience based on more than 15 years working in public, private and not-for-profit sector organizations. This includes experience in adopting the Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB) standards, working with boards and managing the relationship, roles and responsibilities between staff members and boards. Michael is a CPA, CMA. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University and a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
