Michael Kravshik

Michael graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business in 2009, specializing in accounting and finance. He began his career as an external auditor at Ernst and Young, then moved to Protiviti as a risk management consultant. Michael then completed an MA in international affairs, specializing in counter-terrorism, while working at Scotiabank in that capacity.

In late 2013, Michael began his entrepreneurial career by joining wearable technology startup GestureLogic as CFO/COO. In that role, he helped the founders raise $2 million in financing, grew the team to 15 people and was responsible for product management, operations, finance, marketing and more. In 2016, Michael founded Luminari, a platform dedicated to making CPAs’ lives easier and their careers progress faster. The Luminari community is more than 9,000 CPAs strong; its members take part in its unique programs to learn about, and get involved with, startups.
