Matt Davies

Matt is responsible for the vision, strategy and leadership of Ciena’s IT Risk Management and Cybersecurity team. Ciena is a network strategy and technology company with expertise to deliver solutions for next-generation networks.
Matt is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and has obtained his Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) designation. He is a graduate of the University of Ottawa and has completed executive education programs at the Tuck School of Business and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has also completed the NACD’s Cyber-Risk Oversight program and obtained a CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight from Carnegie Mellon University. Matt currently serves as a board member for the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation and Hydro Ottawa.
