Mary Wilson Trider

Mary qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and subsequently worked for the firm in Scotland. While overseas, she also worked for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Shortly after returning to Canada, Mary embarked on a career in the hospital sector and spent a number of years in the Greater Toronto Area. She has been the President & CEO of Almonte General Hospital since 2010 and took on additional responsibility as President & CEO of Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital in September 2016.

Throughout her career, Mary has been active on numerous industry committees at the Ontario Hospital Association and Ministry of Health and Long Term Care as well as locally. She has volunteered on a number of non-profit boards, including Ontario211 Services Corporation, United Way of York Region and the National Ballet Foundation.

A proud graduate of Queen’s University, Mary currently serves on the University Council and on the Board of Trustees, where she is Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee.
