Marc Joyal

Marc is a bilingual senior executive with over 30 years of experience in financial management and reporting, treasury and investments, information technology, and facilities resources management, among other responsibilities in private and public enterprises. During his career, Marc was responsible for financial reporting under IFRS, private, and not-for-profit enterprises standards. Marc is currently a visiting professor at Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa.

Marc previously served as vice-president, Resources at the University of Ottawa, vice-president, Corporate Services and chief financial officer for the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, executive vice-president and vice-president, Business Administration and Finance for the Montfort Hospital and audit services at Deloitte.

Marc also served on the board of directors for a number of private enterprises and not-for-profit organizations. Marc is a CPA, CA (auditeur) of Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec and a CPA, CA of CPA Ontario.
