Malcolm Gilmour

Malcolm is the Vice President Inspections for the Canadian Public Accountability Board (CPAB) which regulates audit firms that audit publicly traded Canadian companies. In this role Malcolm is responsible for the operational management of CPAB’s inspection processes nationally and for overseeing consistency of inspection findings across all regions and across all inspections.

 

Prior to joining CPAB in 2008, Malcolm was an associate partner in a major international firm where he had responsibility for quality assurance and technical resources within the GTA audit practice. Malcolm has also worked as a principal in the support staff for the Canadian Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and as the Canadian internal audit manager for a major US based retailer.

 

Malcolm has a Bachelor Science Degree in Agriculture, along with his Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified Public Accountant designations from Canada and the United States.
