Lara Gaede

Lara is the chief accountant and chief financial officer at the Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) where she is responsible for overseeing the financial services department as well as managing a department that provides advice on complex and novel accounting and auditing issues. She is a member of the Canadian Accounting Standards Board. Lara is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants and a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds the Institute of Corporate Directors’ designation. She regularly speaks on accounting and securities regulatory issues.
