Kimberley Ney

As vice-president of communications for the Financial Planning Standards Council (FPSC), Kimberley oversees the development of marketing and communications programs and initiatives that raise awareness of the importance of professional financial planning and help grow the community of CFP® professionals. Since joining FPSC in 2013, Kimberley has developed and expanded strategic communications to advance FPSC’s purpose of instilling confidence in the financial planning profession.

Prior to joining FPSC, Kimberley spent 20 years in the credit union system, most recently as senior vice-president of marketing, communications and corporate social responsibility at Alterna Savings, the second largest financial co-operative in Ontario. A long-time advocate for corporate citizenship and social responsibility, Kimberley’s passion for empowering Canadians through financial literacy and corporate accountability has been paramount throughout her career.
