Kerry Clark

Kerry provides accounting guidance to clients and staff advising on various financial reporting matters under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). She has over 12 years of experience with IFRS application issues and 16 years of experience handling complex accounting issues. Her accounting experience spans a variety of industries, with a specific focus over the past seven years on financial reporting issues in the energy industries, including oil and gas, infrastructure and utilities. She frequently assists clients in understanding the financial reporting implications of complex transactions such as complicated infrastructure construction and partnership arrangements, leases, share-based payments, revenue recognition issues, acquisitions and joint arrangements.

Kerry is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand; a member of CPA Canada’s Oil and Gas Industry Task Force, the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers’ IFRS Committee and Revenue Transparency Task Force, and EY’s internal expert network on the new revenue recognition standard.
