Jennifer Ryan

Jennifer is the Director General of the GST/HST Directorate in the Domestic Compliance Programs Branch of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Jennifer began her career 30 years ago as a tax auditor. She has held progressively more challenging positions, including Director of Quality Assurance, Director of International Tax, and Director General of the Small and Medium Enterprises Directorate. Jennifer has represented Canada on various projects with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), led Canada’s first international joint audit and oversaw the development of the Advanced transfer Pricing course for CPA Canada. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours from the University of Ottawa and is a CPA-CGA.
