James Temple

As PwC Canada's Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer, James oversees a team that helps to build trust between business and society by working in collaboration with PwC’s people, clients and communities to co-create strategies and initiatives that address complex social, environmental and economic issues while harnessing the firm’s skills, capabilities and resources to help make a difference.  
 
His portfolio includes leadership of the PwC Canada Foundation and its signature initiative - PwC Young People Project – designed to address the issue of Youth Unemployment in Canada.  Empowered by PwC’s people, its goal is to harness the power of technology to provide digital literacy training, coaching and meaningful mentorship experiences to at least 10,000 underprivileged young people across Canada by 2020. 
 
James is a committed volunteer and serves on the Board of Directors for the Philanthropic Foundations of Canada, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, and is a member of the not-for-profit committee of the Risk Oversight and Governance Board at CPA Canada.
