Jaime Seidner

Jaime consults on customs, trade, import and export matters. Prior to re-joining PwC as a tax partner in 2014, Jaime was a senior customs consultant in the National Commodity and Sales Tax Group at the Toronto office of an international law firm.

Before entering the private sector, he worked in various government capacities with Canada Customs as a senior commercial customs inspector, an import commodity specialist and a headquarters project officer on the Customs Accounting Team. Jaime was also a tax enquiries officer with the excise branch. Jaime is a licensed U.S. and Canadian Customs Broker and a Certified Customs Specialist.

He is an advisory board member to the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers (CSCB) Certified Trade Compliance Specialist Program and also sits on the CSCB National Trade Compliance and Recourse Committee. In addition, he is a director on the board of directors of the Association of International Customs and Border Agencies. Jaime is fluent in English and French and is a cum laude graduate of the University of Ottawa where he is also a director on the board of directors of the University of Ottawa Alumni Association.
