Jadys Bourdelais

Jadys is a senior manager at Ernst & Young LLP. Prior to joining Ernst & Young LLP in 2015, Jadys worked for another Big Four accounting firm. Jadys’ practice focuses primarily on advising clients concerned with indirect tax matters. Jadys has over 10 years of experience working with clients, both as an auditor and as an indirect tax advisor. Although Jadys is specialized in the financial services industry, he has worked in various sectors including retail, manufacturing and pharmaceutical. Jadys is a member of both the EY Montreal financial services sector and retail sector committees.

Jadys advises and shares his knowledge with financial institution, notably on the concept of “arranging for”, on implementing optimal input tax credits allocation methods and on improving the efficiency of their compliance work. Jadys also represents various clients under audit by the tax authorities.

Jadys participates in various internal and external EY publications, such as EY’s Commodity Tax News and EY’s Complete Guide to GST/HST.

Jadys was a speaker at the 2017 Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association Tax Conference and at the 2018 APFF Commodity tax symposium. Jadys is a lecturer at University of Sherbrooke – Graduate Program in Indirect Tax.

Jadys holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Post-graduate diploma in Public Accounting and a Post-graduate diploma in Taxation from HEC Montreal. He is also a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Quebec and holds a CA designation.

Jadys is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Association de planification fiscale et financière.
