Eric Turner, CPA, CA

Eric has served as a principal in the Auditing and Assurance Standards department at Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) for over 15 years. He provides staff support to the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and is responsible for the auditor reporting standards project.

Eric is also responsible for supporting CPA Canada’s efforts to (a) identify, research, develop, enhance and communicate information on evolving thoughts, trends and practices, related to auditing, other assurance and related services, and (b) work collaboratively with external stakeholders, staff in provincial/regional bodies, volunteers and subject matter experts. This helps to ensure that Canada’s Chartered Professional Accountants are well informed and appropriately supported to enable them to respond effectively to future market demands in auditing, other assurance and related services.
