Daniel L. Kiselbach

Dan is a partner of Deloitte Tax Law LLP and works within the Global Trade and Customs and Tax groups of Deloitte in Canada. His practice is national and international in scope, mainly serving multinational corporations and affiliates.

Dan has over 26 years of legal experience. His practice focus is on customs, trade and taxation matters. His career began as a staff lawyer for the Department of Justice, Canada, where he represented federal departments and agencies, including what are now known as the Canada Border Services Agency and the Canada Revenue Agency. He entered private practice in 1997 and acted as national leader of the International Trade, Customs and Commodity Tax Practice Group at a major Canadian law firm before joining Deloitte Tax Law in 2013. He is ranked by the Lexpert Directory as repeatedly recommended.

Dan has written and presented extensively on customs and trade matters. He is also a member and director of various customs and trade-related organizations including I.E. Canada National Board of Directors; American Chamber of Commerce – Pacific; Canadian Bar Association Commodity Tax, Customs and Trade Section; and the American Bar Association, Customs and International Section.
