Dalton Albrecht

Dalton advises and represents clients on goods and services tax (GST/HST), PST, and federal excise taxes and duties. Other areas of practice include customs law value for duty, tariff classification, export controls/sanctions and import controls, and duty relief. He advises on all aspects of international trade law, including anti-dumping/countervailing/safeguard matters before the Canadian Border Services Agency and Canadian International Trade Tribunal. He also advises on matters related to the North American Free Trade Agreement, World Trade Organization, and General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, including investment restrictions and trade-in services. Dalton appears before the Canadian International Trade Tribunal and represents clients before the Tax Court of Canada, Ontario Courts and the Federal Court of Canada.
