Emerson Savage

Emerson Savage is an Institutional Portfolio Manager at Louisbourg Investments. In his role, he helps lead institutional relationship management, guiding investment policy and strategic asset allocation decisions for the firm’s pension, insurance, endowment, and foundation clients. He has also written in the past on a wide array of topics relevant to institutional investors as an expert blogger for Canadian Investment Review. He has been a panelist at the Summit for Asset Management, an international conference for investment management professionals.  

Emerson holds the CFA and CPA designations and completed undergraduate degrees in accounting and finance at the University of New Brunswick. He is part of the CPA Canada financial literacy volunteer program and is a coach with Team New Brunswick baseball. Prior to his career in finance, he pitched internationally for Team Canada Baseball and played college baseball in the United States.
