Christa Casey

Christa has been with Welch LLP, a public accounting firm, since she was a co-op student with the University of Ottawa in 1995. Christa obtained her CPA, CA designation in 1999. She has led Welch’s not-for-profit practice since 2010 and has been a partner with the firm since 2013. In 2014, Christa was honoured to be a recipient of the Ottawa Business Journal’s Forty under 40 Award, and she also received her certification for CPA Ontario’s Not-for-Profit and Charity Finance Leadership program that year. Currently, Christa is a member of CPA Ontario’s Practice Inspection Committee and she is the treasurer for the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.
