Cheryl Swallow

Cheryl Swallow is the Vice President, Finance with the Canadian Cancer Society. Cheryl is providing leadership as the CCS undergoes transformational change and is currently leading a number of projects that will streamline and integrate systems and processes.

A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA), Cheryl has worked in a variety of increasingly senior positions in the non-profit sector for more than 25 years, 9 years at the Alzheimer Society of BC, time at the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Canadian Cancer Society in Saskatchewan. Cheryl has worked in complex stakeholder environments with Board members, committees, operational teams, task forces, government agencies community organizations and donors.

She has been involved and led a variety of provincial and Canada-wide projects and working groups that have resulted in operational improvements and innovations that have achieved cost savings and efficiencies - which has meant more impact to the important missions of these organizations.
