Carla Funk

Carla is dedicated to understanding ways for nonprofit organizations to survive and to thrive. Her areas of focus are philanthropy, organizational management, governance and leadership, and effectiveness in international development.

She started her career in a famine in Ethiopia, later working on food security issues in Zimbabwe, and focused on education in Switzerland. In BC she has worked with environmental, health research, children’s health, and First Nations organizations.
