Cameron Plewes

Mr. Plewes has been with Peters & Co. Limited since 2003, and has served on the firm’s Executive Committee since 2008. 

Prior to becoming President in 2018, he was the Managing Director of the firm’s corporate finance group.  Peters & Co. is an independent and privately held investment dealer that has specialized exclusively in the Canadian energy sector for over 45 years, providing a full range of investment banking services: financial and strategic advisory, securities placement and underwriting, institutional and private client sales and trading, and equity research.  In the past decade, Peters & Co. has advised on approximately $26BN of merger and acquisition transactions, and has led approximately $16 BN in financings for private and public companies. 

Prior to joining Peters & Co., Mr. Plewes was a private equity investor, an equity research analyst, and an assurance manager at KPMG.  Mr. Plewes holds CPA and CBV designations, and is a CFA charterholder.
