Brandon Gabert

Brandon is information systems manager for Guardian Chemicals Inc., located in Sturgeon County, Alberta, near Edmonton.

During his 12-year career with the company, he has been project manager on the implementation of two ERP systems and tasked with continuously improving the system. This presented both challenge and opportunity.

In 2016, due to an illness in the family, Brandon moved to Beaumont, TX, and worked with NexTec Solutions Group, a Sage X3 implementer, where he was a financial application consultant. Some of his customers included a multinational nut-processing and distribution company with challenges in tracking goods coming in from other countries and accounting for new manufacturing processes, a candle manufacturer with aspirations to automate, and many others.

The following year, Brandon and his wife had their second child and his desire to travel for work changed. He returned to Canada and Guardian Chemicals. Since then, the company has experienced unprecedented growth and his work has been integral to that success.
