As many organizations have learned, cyberattacks are no longer a matter of if, but when. Investors are increasingly interested in understanding an organization's exposure to cybersecurity risk and the related policies, processes and controls in place to address this risk.
CPA Canada and EY joined forces to better understand the nature and extent of cybersecurity-related disclosures made by Canadian public companies.
Our final report is expected to be issued in early 2020. Based on our work to date, we have prepared a summary report to share some of our initial findings.
