Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) has responded to EFRAG’s request for comment on the draft European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). There will be cross-jurisdictional implications of the ESRS on Canadian entities as a result of a provisional political agreement on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) in the EU.
